12th Latin American Workshop on Cliques in Graphs
LAWCG is meant to foster interaction among the Latin American Graph Theory and Combinatorics community, whose research interests include cliques, clique graphs, the behavior of cliques and other topics in Graph Theory.
The official languages are English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
For information about previous editions, please visit the LAWCG permanent website.

Contributed talks covering original work on the conference topics will be accepted for presentation.
Prospective authors should submit an at most 2-page abstract of their work following this LaTeX format. Other formats will not be accepted for submission.
Papers must be submitted electronically via the EasyChair submission system.
For each accepted paper at least one author must register and attend the symposium (in person) to present it. Moreover, an author cannot register for multiple papers. That is, each accepted paper must have its own registrant.
The proceedings of the workshop will likely be published, after the event, at Matemática Contemporânea, as in the previous editions of LAWCG. All interested researchers will be invited to submit an extended abstract describing their contributions. The submitted papers will go through the normal peer-review process, following the guidelines of Matemática Contemporânea.
Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Mexico
He is a Full Professor at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) in Mexico and a Level II researcher in the National System of Researchers (SNII). He holds a Ph.D. in Sciences (Graph Theory) from UAM, an M.Sc. in Mathematics from CINVESTAV. His research lies at the intersection of Mathematics and Computer Science, specializing in Graph Theory with a focus on computational combinatorics, clique graphs and cages. He also serves on the steering committees of the Latin American Algorithms, Graphs, and Optimization Symposium (LAGOS) and the Latin American Workshop on Cliques in Graphs (LAWCG).
Universidade Federal do Ceará, Brazil
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Ceará (2008), a master’s degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Ceará (2011), and a PhD in Computer Science from Université de Nice Sophia Antipolis (2014). She is currently a professor in the Department of Computer Science at the Federal University of Ceará and a collaborating member of the Algorithms research line of the Master’s and Doctoral Program in Computer Science (MDCC-UFC). Her main research interests are graph theory, computational complexity, and algorithms.
Universidad de Chile, Chile
She is the deputy director of the Center for Mathematical Modeling, and also the Academic Director of the Center. She is a full professor at the Department of Mathematical Engineering of the Universidad de Chile. She obtained her doctorate degree at the University of Hamburg, Germany. She works in Combinatorics and Graph Theory, with a broad spectrum ranging from extremal and probabilistic graph theory and hypergraphs to algorithmic graph theory. She serves on the scientific committee of the Chilean Mathematical Society (Somachi), and was deputy head of the ANID grant evaluation panel for mathematics.
A detailed program will be announced in due course. The event runs from 4:00 pm on 5 October to 2:00 pm on 8 October.
The event will take place at hotel Monte Real, and all participants are required to stay at this hotel for the duration of the event. The registration fee is all-inclusive and will cover accommodation, all meals, and leisure facilities at the hotel. It may also include transportation between São Paulo–Guarulhos International Airport (GRU) and the hotel.
Expenses for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as extra services such as minibar, laundry, and any other costs incurred by participants during their stay, will be the responsibility of the participants and must be paid at hotel check-out.
During registration, participants must choose between a single room or a shared double room. Selecting a single room will incur an additional cost. Participants in double rooms may indicate their preferred roommate during registration; if no preference is given, room assignments will be made by the organizing team.
